George Augustus Nash                         1770-1825
George Augustus Nash was born on 22 September 1770, the son of Andrew Nash and Augusta Neunburg. He married Lydia Watson.
  He was educated at Merchant Taylors School, became a glass merchant, and was Master of the Merchant Taylor's Company, 1817-18. He was one of London's big wheeler dealers of the early 1800s. His will was drawn up on Oct. 18, 1824, and proved in London on Sept. 14, 1825.

Lydia was born about 1775, the daughter of David Watson and Mary Dixon. Her will was drawn up on March 28, 1832, and proved in London on June 10, 1837

  On Monday, the 22nd, inst., at Brighton, in consequence of a serious accident, in which his thigh was broken, George Augustus Nash, Esq., of Cornhill, and Finsbury-Square, in the 55th year of his age.

  Geo. Augustus Nash, Esq., whose singular accident at Brighton (the having his thigh broken whilst walking on the Parade, in consequence of being run against by a man who was escaping from justice)...He died on Monday last in consequence of the accident. He was in his 55th year"
