Bright Smith                                             1794-1855
  Bright Smith was born in 1794, the son of William Smith, of Kensington Gore. He died March 13, 1855, 12 Bryanston Square, London. He was a JP. Mary Ann's marriage to Bright Smith was a double wedding - her sister Augusta Susan got married to Dr Fred Leighton at the same time. Mary Ann was a spinster, of St Luke, Finsbury, when she married, by license. Bright Smith was of St George Hanover Square. By 1836 they were living at Hove Villa, Brighton, and by 1845 in St James's, London. Bright's will was drawn up on Sept. 3, 1842 and proved on April 26, 1855.
