Dr. John Knox Vade                           1796-1867
John was born on 14 December 1796, at St Michael's, Cornhill, the second son of John Vade, chemist and druggist of 46 Cornill, and Ann Knox of Tunbridge Wells
John Knox Vade was educated at Merchant Taylors School, 1804-06. He became an M.D., at Edinburgh, and a member of the Royal College of Physicians. By 1831 he and Lydia were living at Rickmansworth, Herts
Daughter Lydia Mary remained unmarried, and died on 7 June 1885.
  Son Vicesimus was educated at Harrow and Trinity, Cambridge (matriculated at Michaelmas 1841); BA 1845; MA 1847. Deaconed in London 1845, and priested in 1847. Curate of Madron and Morvah, Cornwall, 1848-54. He lived at Hatfield, Herts, and later at 4 Lower Berkeley Street, London. He died at age 51, on 12 May 1874, at his home, 74 Kensington Park Road, Notting Hill. His will was drawn up on April 22, 1874 and proved on May 22, 1874 to his brother John and sister Lydia.

Lydia was born on 24 July 1797, the daughter of George Augustus Nash and Lydia Watson, at St. Michael's Cornhill, London.
