Howard Gourley Allison                      1896-1962
Howard was born on 3 January 1896, the son of Charles Howard Allison and Edith Elizabeth Lumsdon, in Fulwell, County Durham. He married Dorothy Greenwood on 8 May 1920. That marriage ended in divorce in 1950. He then married Ida Maud Priscilla Haag on 8 August 1951. Howard served in World War I. He joined the 16th Bn. Northumberland Fusiliers in 1914. He was commissioned into the 9th Bn. Durham Light Infantry on 15 March 1915. Howard was attached to the Machine Gun Corps throughout WW I, serving on the Western Front and Mesopotania. He served in World War II with the Royal Army Pay Corps, 1940-1943 and T.A. attached machine Gun Corps. He was educated at Pannal Ash college. Howard died on 18 November 1962.

Ida Maud Priscilla Haag                             1922-1996
Priscilla was born on 27 September 1922, in South Kensington, London, the eldest daughter of Norman Carl Haag and Doris Maud de Winton White, nee Wills, of Penwood, Branksome Park, Bournmouth.   Priscilla died in Wiltshire on 25 November 1996.
