Henry Donaldson Muirhead             1836-1876 Henry was born on 6 January 1836, the son of James Muirhead and Jane Smith, at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was educated at Glasgow University. He was an African merchant in Hamilton, in business with his brother in Natal - Muirhead, Findlay & Co. Margaret Christina Potter                1841-1891 Margaret was born on 27 August 1841, the daughter of Lewis Potter and Margaret Muirhead, at Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland. After their marriage ended in a seperation, she migrated to South Africa, where she became the Superintendant of the Lovedale Girls School, at East London, South Africa.
