Alexander Paterson                                1863-1940
Alexander was born in 1863, the son of David Paterson and Janet Stille, in Madras, India. He was a medical missionary. After extensive missionary work in the Middle East, he retired to Scotland where he was Chairman of the Pension Appeal Tribunals for Scotland

Margaret "May" Potter Muirhead       1861-1946
"May" was born on 2 July 1861, the daughter of Henry Donaldson Muirhead and Margaret Christina Potter, at Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland. After her parents seperated, May's mother took the children to South Africa. May then met and married Alexander Paterson. After the marriage, they concentrated on missionary work in the Middle East. They later returned to England, and then settled in Edinburgh Scotland
I have not identified any children.
