Frederick Septimus Clark       1861-1917 Frederick was born on 5 June 1861, the son of George and Jane Clark. After a brief period of boarding with his brother John Lockie and his wife Margaret Jane, he and Margaret Jane ran off together, and were later married. He died on 17 July 1917.

Died 17 Jul 1917 East Grinstead, Forest Row, West Sussex

East Grinstead Observer, Saturday, July 21st 1917 THE DEATH occurred, somewhat suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, of Mr F. S. Clark a well known resident of this district. He resided at WHITECROFT and had been in a weak state of health for some time, so his end was not altogether unexpected. Before coming to Forest Row Mr Clark resided at Haven, Crawley Down. He was a genial, good natured gentlemen and had many friends in the district.
