Rev. Edward John Speck                       1812-1883
Edward was born about 1812, the son of William Speck, Esq., Commander Royal Navy, at Stoke Demerel, Devonshire. He attended Trinity College, Dublin, gaining his B.A. in 1834, and M.A in 1841, he was admited to Oxford 'ad eundem' in 1843.
