Benjamin Robertson Goldsmith         1842-1905
Benjamin was born on 8 August 1842, the son of Benjamin Robertson Goldsmith and Rebecca Hall, at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. He appears to have met his future wife by working as a groom for the family. He managed a name change after he married, from Goldsmith to Wilmot, then migrated the family name to Sidney-Wilmot.

Beatrice Sophia Gilbert                        1848-1935
Beatrice was born about 1848, the daughter of Rev. Philip Parker Gilbert and Sophia Dumergue, at Shoreditch, Middlesex. Her father baptised Benjamin in 1861.
