Rev. John Clare Hudson                     1849-1934
  John was born about 1849, the son of John Hudson and Eleanor Sewell, at Lower Swell, Gloucestershire.
  Was educated at Sherborne School   Admitted at age 21, to Pembroke College, Oxford, on September 1, 1869.   Received his B.A. 1873; and his M.A. 1876.   He was Ordained deacon (Gloucester and Bristol) in 1872; and priest in 1873;   He was Curate of Uley, Gloucestershire, 1872-1875.   He was Rector of Martin with V. of Thornton, Lincolnshire, 1875-1920.   Prebendary of Lincoln Cathedral.   Licensed to preach in diocese of Canterbury, 1928-1933; in diocese of Southwark, 1929-1933.   He was Co-editor of Lincolnshire Notes and Queries, 1888-1899.   Lived at 37 St Peter's Road, Croydon, 1928-1934.   Died January 6, 1934.
Eleanor Gilliat                                     1848-1924
Eleanor was born about 1848, the daughter of George Gilliat and Katharine Betham, at Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
