Percy was born on 6 April 1815, the son of Henry Warren and Eliza Mason, at Ashington, Sussex.
He was educated at Westminster School and at Jesus College, Cambridge (admitted 1833). He was Curate of Ashington (1839-1846); Wiggonholt & Greatham (1846-1847); | Curate of Worthing, Hants. He married Margaret Charlotte Barlee. He also spent years in Canada, as the Curate of Lakefield (Canada West) (1854-1863). He was Vicar of Wanborough, Wiltshire in 1888. He was deaconed but never priested, so could not become a rector. |
