John Thomas Austen                           1794-1876
John was born about 1794, the son of Maj. John Austen and Harriet Hussey, at Goudhurst, Kent. He married Charlotte Sophia Tilson. He was Vicar of Aldworth, Berkshire, 1832-48; rector of West Wickham, Kent, 1848-76; and honorary canon of Canterbury, 1873-6.
