Harry Nash Thompson 1889-1966 Harry was born 12 February 1889, the son of Henry Thompson and "Minnie" Dove, at Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, where they were visiting at the time. After the death of his father, in February 1892, he and his mother traveled to Australia, and settled in Gunnedah, New South Wales, where he met his future wife, Annie. On April 6, 1915, at age 26, he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force, to fight in World War 1. On July 4th 1941, at 50 years of age, he enlisted in the fight of World Way 2. Annie Eileen Foster 1893-1947 Annie was born 22 July 1893, the daughter of Thomas Foster and Maria Anna Purcell, at Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia. I have identified the following children. |
