George Frederick Campbell Bray       1826-1884
George was born on 23 April 1826, at Tilbury Fort, Kent.
He became an Ensign with the 39th Foot on 22 March 1844; a Lieut.-Col. with the 66th Foot 14 September 1870 to 13 March 1878, when he was placed on half-pay; He was Assistant Adjutant General, second division Abyssinian Expedition 11 November 1867 to 7 June 1868; Deputy A.A.G. Bombay 20 September 1872 to 15 November 1873; A.A.G. and Q.M.G. Southern District 15 March 1878 to 31 March 1883; Hon. Major General 26 September 1883.

Charlotte was born about 1830, the daughter of Edward Pope, D.D., at Kingston, Jamaica.
