George was born about 1860, the son of Robert Appleby Bartram and Ann Naizby.
Euphemia Walker Rhind, O.B.E.        1871-1956
Euphemia was born on 30 April 1871, the daughter of Alexander Rhind and Marianne Jessie Mackenzie, in New York. After her parents untimely death, this 12 year old was sent back to England and became a British Subject. She was awarded the Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) for her work during the First World War.
