Charles was born 30 August 1810, the son of Rev. Charles Walters and Elizabeth Undy, at Bishop Waltham, Hampshire. Matric. 18 Nov. 1829, aged 19, postmaster Merton Coll. 1831-1833, B.A. 1833, M.A. 1836, perp. curate Littlemore, Oxford, 1848-1851, vicar of Wardington, Oxon 1851 until his death 24 Jan., 1877.

Ellen was born 29 September 1815, the daughter of Rev. William Stevens du Sautoy and Eleanor Marshall Rowe, at Portsea, Hampshire.
