Lewis Page Ogle                                    1918-2007
Lewis was born on 13 August 1918, the son of Lewis Page Ogle and Edith Bell, at South Shields, County Durham. He served in the Royal Engineers [1939-1946] during the war, he then worked in the timber yards at Tyne Dock before becoming a water inspector for the Sunderland and South Shields Water Company; a job he continued until his retirement.
He first married Olive Doreen Telford. After her death, he married Alma Freeman.
