Edward was Christened 6 February 1772, the son of J. Huggins, in Lamonby, Skelton Parish, Cumberland. He married Esther Bowerbank, a minor, in the Parish of Greystoke, Cumberland on 2 November 1794.
Esther Bowerbank                                 1775-
Esther was born about 1775, in Cumberland County, the daughter of John Bowerbank. She resided in Johnby, Greystoke Parish at the time of her marriage in 1794. Many of their children immigrated to Canada.
