Walker H. Featherstonhaugh           1793-1863
Walker was born on 4 June 1793, in Chester le Street, County Durham, the son of Marmaduke George Featherstonhaugh and Hannah Walker. He owned and operated The Wear Glass Bottle Company, at Deptford, near Sunderland, and was joined in that enterprise by his sons Albany William, and Edward.

FEATHERSTONHAUGH, Walker, Esq. - The will of Walker Featherstonhaugh, late of Roker House, near Sunderland, in the county of Durham, Esquire, deceased, who died 26 March 1863, at Roker House, aforesaid, was proved at Durham, by the oaths of the reverend Walker Featherstonhaugh, of Edmondbyers, in the county aforesaid, Clerk, and Albany William Featherstonhaugh, of Sunderland, aforesaid, Glass Bottloe Manufacturer, the sons, two of the Executors.   Effects under £18,000
