Sir Thomas Wynn 1736-1807
Thomas was born in April 1736, the son of Sir John Wynn, 2nd Baronet, and Jane ?.
He succeeded his father in the baronetcy in 1773 and on 23 July 1776 he was raised to the Peerage of Ireland as Baron Newborough, of Newborough.
He served as a Member of Parliament from 1761 to 1781, and 1796 to 1807.
He lived in Florence, Italy, from 1782 until 1791.

Maria Stella Petronilla Chiappini 1773-1843 (2nd Wife)
Maria was born about 1773, the daughter of Lorenzo Chiappini, a police constable in Florence, who put Maria on the stage at an early age.
Lord Newborough had apparently become infatuated with her after seeing her at a music hall.
Son Thomas John became the 2nd Baron Newborough upon the death of his father in 1807, until his death in 1832, whereupon his brother Spencer became the 3rd Baron Newborough, until his death in 1888.
