Thomas Dixon                                       1726-1761
Thomas was born on 23 June 1726, the son of Joseph Dixon and Mary Brookes, at Stamford, Lincolnshire. Thomas became a wheelwright, and was made free of the borough of Stamford on Aug. 29, 1751. In 1755 he took on Joseph Slater as an apprentice for seven pounds. Thomas's will, drawn up on 26 September 1752, was proved in Stamford on 2 December 1762, and left everything to Anna, except 10 pounds to his brother Sydenham.

Anna was born about 1731, the daughter of Thomas Arch and Mary Browning, at Stamford Baron, Northamptonshire.
They had no children.
