THIS IS THE LAST WILL of me DORA CLARK PARRINGTON of Carley Hill, Sunderland.
  1. I wish to be cremated.

  2. I REVOKE all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me.

  3. I APPOINT my son Thomas Parrington, and my brother-in-law, William Ferguson Parrington, Executors hereof.

  4. I GIVE free of duty:
    1. My Gold snuff box to my said son.
    2. My single stone diamond engagement ring to my daughter Millicent Carter.
    3. The rest of my jewelry to my daughter Jean Parrington.
    4. £50 to my grand-daughter Diana Carter.

  5. In exercise of the power given to me by my marriage settlement, I appoint that the Trustees thereof shall hold the funds subject thereto UPON TRUST for such of my children, as shall be living at my death, and if more than one, in equal shares.

  6. I give all my real estate and the remainder of my personal estate and effects to my daughter Jean Parrington.

On the 30th day of March 1979, Probate of this will was granted at Newcastle upon Tyne to Thomas Parrington of High Trees, Alderbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire, the other executor, William Ferguson Parrington, having renounced Probate thereof.
