Major-General George Drury            1823-1895
George was born on 3 December 1823, the son of Captain Henry Drury and Jessie McGee, in Kings County, Ireland. He was the grandson of John Drury and Mary Elizabeth Preston Vallancey. George served in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.

Jessie was born about 1825, the daughter of Harry Pigou and Margaret McDonald, in Tenby, Pembroke, Wales.
