Frederick James Brodribb                 1895-
Frederick was born on 17 March 1895, the son of Thomas James Brodribb and Alma Margaret Leaman, at Barton Regis, Gloucestershire. He served in WW1, at the rank of Lieutenant. He married Dorothy Evans on 4 March 1920.

MISSING FOR THREE MONTHS

THREE months of country-wide inquiries have failed to yield a single clue to the whereabouts of Frederick James Brodribb, 42-year-old financier of Wimbledon, S.W., who threatened suicide after telling creditors that his liabilities were about £70,000.
  A warrant for the arrest of Brodribb was granted under the Bankruptcy Act, at Kingston County Court, in January, because he failed to attend his public examination on December 13.
  Despite Brodribb's letter to the Official Receiver, in which he said, "I have decided to commit suicide." bankruptcy officials believe that he is still alive, although he may have left the country.
  When Brodribb failed to attend his public examination, the Official Receiver said he assumed that the suicide threat had not been carried out.

Frederick and Dorothy were divorced by 1940.
