His Grace The Duke of Richmond       1734/35-1806
Field Marshall Charles Lennox, 3rd Duke of Richmond was born on 22 February 1734/35, the son of General Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond, and Lady Sarah Cadogan.
  He was educated at the Westminster School, in London, and at Leyden University, Leyden, The Netherlands.   Upon the death of Charles Lennox, the 2nd Duke of Richmond, on 8 August 1750, he succeeded to all the titles.   He succeeded to the titles of 3rd Earl of March, 3rd Duke of Lennox, 3rd Duke of Richmond, 3rd Baron of Settrington, 3rd Earl of Darnley, 3rd Lord of Torboultoun, and 3rd Duc d'Aubigny, de Berri [France].
  He died without issue, only three illegitimate daughters by his housekeeper, thus the titles passed on to the son of his younger brother, Charles Lennox (1764-1819).

Lady Mary was born about 1740, the daughter of Charles Bruce, 4th Earl of Elgin and Lady Caroline Campbell.
They had no children.
