  BRIGGS - On Nov. 27, 1941, at The Manor House, Wickhambrook, after a few days' illness. Lieutenant-General Sir Charles James Briggs, K.C.B., K.C.M.G., Acting Colonel of The King's Dragoon Guards, second son of the late Colonel Charles Briggs, of Hylton Castle, Co. Durham, and much loved husband of Daphne Briggs.   Funeral Wickhambrook, 2:15 p.m. to-morrow (Saturday).
