Arthur Naizby Burkett                         1884-1965
Arthur was born on 28 March 1884, the son of William Naizby Burkett and Rebecca Scott, at Sunderland, County Durham. He married Hannah Lizzie Slack. Arthur was a teacher. He taught at St. John's College at York, where he was captain of the tennis team, and stroke of the second Eight (Rowing Team) and at retirement, he was Headmaster of the school in Leominster, Herefordshire. He died on 19 December 1965.
