Alfred Wilson Mills                           1833-1886
Alfred was born about 1833, the 7th son of William Mills and Lucy Dewes, at Harrow, Middlesex. He attended Lincoln College, Oxford, on 13 March 1864, receiving his B.A. in 1857, and his M.A. in 1860. He was vicar of St. Erth, Cornwall, from 1864 until his death in 1886.

Virginie was born on 29 January 1835, the daughter of George Chaplin Holroyd and Mary Virginie Mottet De La Fontaine, at Exeter, Devon.
